Summer ConFest

Next Summer ConFest will be held at Moulamien ...... December 28th 2007 to January 3rd 2008

Summer ConFest is traditionally the more "high energy" gathering, The peak point of this of course is New Years Eve. As with all ConFest happenings and activities, the celebrations are spontaneous, gorgeously varied and often surprising. Previous New Years Eve celebrations have included; concerts and roving musical performances, parades, special performances by international guests, ceremonies of many descriptions, communal feasts, drama and other visual performances and many many more. It is likely that water quantity may be an issue this summer, both in the river and for our use. Please be sure to bring as much of your own drinking water as possible.

Summer is the season for fire restrictions and most likely total fire bans. Fire Restrictions are in force throughout the summer festival. Fire Restrictions mean that: NO FLAME is to be used other than at approved ConFest Community Kitchen spaces, and in legally certified indoor caravan cookers. Solid fuel fires may only be lit at approved fire circles, in the steel half-drums.
